Nothing invites obsessive-compulsive behavior like preparing for Drop/Add period.

I finally picked five.

Acting I
Intro Sociology
French 215
International Politics
Reason and Revelation - the religion course of 9 required books. Augh.

And before you know it, beautiful fin-de-siecle literature courses present themselves. How is a girl to cope?

3 volumes of Millay at Strand, and one Jazz Age haircut made for an excellent day.

I got an A/O thrill and a hearty snicker out of last night's episode, and the repeated assertion that Liv's 8-year partnership with Elliot is "the longest relationship I've ever had with a man."

Well then! They can change her hair (and good god how they have...) but the subtext is unswerving. :)

We ate traditional Indian food, while sitting outside a Parisian bistro, out of which walked jabbering Italians.

Being home is so good. Dancing up a storm two nights in a row is even better.

Wise words:

"when your love lets you go you only want love more
even when love wasn't what you were looking for"

Tegan and Sarah baby.

I'm spending today in SciLi working on Chaucer. Love to Kelley my study partner. And fuck strep throat. At least I knew what it was when I woke up feeling like half-baked hell yesterday.

I spend all my time either sleeping or at call. It's an enjoyable existence in its own way, but I can't help but look forward to the gigantic amount of free time that I'm going to have as of tomorrow.

As You Like It has turned out wonderfully - Friday night's show was all about realizing how damn FUNNY the show is, while Saturday was more about milking the really good moments. And tonight, well, we're just gonna bring down the house.

Work? Um, yes. Somewhere in there I've been doing work. Courses? We're looking at

Definitely French and a seminar on Medieval Iberia (!!!)
Maybe International Politics - the other option is Intro Sociology
Nonfiction workshop if I get in, Acting I if I get in,
Possibly Physics again (cause I'm a masochist like that).

Meanwhile, it's my naptime in about half an hour, and my fridge is FULL of Italian food - leftovers plus Nonna's chicken parm. Now famous at two (three?) institutes of higher education.

Two people partying on my hall got sent to the hospital last night due to alcohol, and all before I got back from 8PM curtain followed by photo call (which only lasted until about midnight). Now that's what I call efficiency.

I've decided to sleep on it, then demand direct answers.

I've also decided that tomorrow is a Pi cafe morning. And to think I once dared to call myself indecisive.

If not the leaves and the breeze, the solution is probably Millay's collected sonnets.

I'm going swing dancing in twenty minutes! YAYS!

And I really, really want a rap solo in Waiting in Line's version of Forgot About Dre.

Wait a minute - I still need to get swing-cute! Off I trot.

First show last night! And Summerfield's Late-Night, and staying up until 2...

Except for my coffee, I am comatose. And tonight's show is at 10. By the way, I've been binding my chest since dress on order to better portray a seven year old. It's a bit of an experience... and good practice for Rosalind/Ganymede.

Okay, caffeine kicking in just in time for Physics. I feel so much better. And speaking of Physics - ZOMG! I owned my physics homework - once I figured out my grade was out of 80 and not 100! Whoo!
Playing: Closer to Fine

Rehearsal starts in seven minutes by this computer's clock. Rehearsal occurs in a room that is a ten minute walk away. And even though I just climbed a tree I can't imagine wanting to play a gay seven year old less.

What did you do today? What's one thing you thought about today? I want to know, even though part of why I think my brain feels so foggy is because I'm constantly around people and their speech, their words, their thoughts.

Then again, it might just be cause of Physics.

Had a read through for the student play I got into.
Got into As You Like It - I'm playing Rosalind!
And I got into Waiting in Line, a co-ed acappella group that sings songs like "Internet Killed the Video Star" and "I am in Love With a McDonald's Girl."

Woke up at ten, with no alarm. What a luxury. Went to yoga until 12, got all warm and wobbly and loosened up. Came back home, got some cereal, tea, and a peach, and read a magazine on the picnic tables outside Westco 1. Absolutely lovely.

Wah! Helen Hunt was in a TV version of Twelfth Night and for the life of me I CAN'T FIND IT! Woe.

Packing up my entire life is philosophically as well as materially hard. And I'm hating on the weather today. Hating so hard. Time to go pack shoes. Facebooking/Amazoning/IMDBing cheered me up. Or maybe it was just the latte.

ah, V for Vendetta. 'Twas just as good the second time. Maybe I should look for some fanfic of this 'dom. *Evil grin* Love that he quotes Shakespeare - especially Twelfth Night. I do believe it's time to go back and reread that.

Well, at least I don't have to get up before 9 tomorrow. My last day at Aquila was good - I'm going to have to hook up with them on tour this season, help Rob with a load-in... chill backstage with Lindsay and Bashy... mwahaha.

My sister made utterly delicious banana chocolate chip cake. I'm a happy gal.
Except for the tons of PACKING still to do!

"When and how we met, we mooed and made exchange of vow -- " - Louis

PS. Bought Canterbury Tales and The Three Musketeers today for a grand total of seven bucks.
PPS. I was just looking at aquilatheatre.com and realizing how much that job rocked. I got to work with them and befriend them, and laugh with them to boot. It feels like an accomplishment - and I'll be damned if it's not a toehold.
